I’ve Felt: is an introduction into a body of work that explores myself through recent external and internal changes. By manipulating material, emotions and thoughts become visual representatives that I can physically confront. Here, yarn and fabric come together to help form a whole from pieces. The process is both documentation and reflection for periods in my life. The series will continue to grow with me.
It’s difficult to understand parts of myself, especially recently, and even when I do have a semblance of comprehension, I still can’t articulate the ambiguity of feeling both one and many. I am only sure that I’ve felt something.
